A note before we start
This policy explains what cookies Hauva.club uses and why. We use as few cookies as possible, and only the ones we need to make the service work.
For broader information about how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy. For questions about this policy, write to privacy@hauva.club.
01
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They are used for many purposes; some are essential for a service to function, others are used for analytics or advertising.
Hauva.club uses only essential cookies. We do not use advertising cookies. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
02
Cookies we use
2.1 Authentication cookies
When you sign in with Google, Hauva.club sets a cookie that keeps you logged in across pages and visits. Without this cookie, you would have to sign in again every time you open the app.
2.2 Security cookies
Hauva.club uses a small number of cookies to protect against common web security issues, such as cross-site request forgery (CSRF).
2.3 Third-party cookies from Google sign-in
When you sign in with Google, Google may set cookies on its own domains as part of the authentication process. These cookies are governed by Google's own policies. Hauva.club does not have access to them and does not control their content.
03
Cookies we do NOT use
- We do not use advertising cookies.
- We do not use third-party tracking pixels (such as Facebook Pixel or Google Analytics).
- We do not currently run user-facing analytics. If we add a privacy-friendly, cookie-less analytics tool in the future (such as Plausible), we will update this policy.
- We do not sell or share cookie-derived data with third parties.
04
Your choices
Because Hauva.club uses only essential cookies, we do not show a cookie consent banner. Essential cookies do not require consent under EU law; they are necessary for the service to function.
If you do not want any cookies at all, you may:
- Disable cookies in your browser settings. Note that Hauva.club will not work properly in this state, since you would not be able to stay signed in.
- Use private browsing mode, which clears cookies when the session ends.
- Clear cookies manually from your browser at any time.
05
Changes to this policy
If we introduce new cookies in the future (for example, if we add analytics), we will update this policy and inform users where appropriate.
